The Role

Absolute Care are looking for Care Assistants to join our outstanding team. We really value our Care Assistants as we know that they are the key to our success. We are a family-owned home care provider, working in the Charnwood district of Leicestershire and work hard to deliver outstanding-quality care to people who live in their own homes.About the role of Care Assistant:The role of a Care Assistant is incredibly rewarding. You will be providing clients with support in all aspects of their daily life including; personal care, preparation of meals and companionship, encouraging their independence and enabling them to remain in their own homes.About You:As a care assistant, you will be a kind, caring and empathetic person. You will have excellent communication skills and commitment to delivering high-quality care. You will also be able to read care plans in place and ensure that each individual client's needs are met at each visit. Experience is not required as full training is provided. Being able to drive and having a car is desirable but is not essential.About Absolute Care:Our Registered Care Manager is a qualified District Nurse with over 20 years NHS experience. Our dedicated office team have all worked as Care Assistants, so we really appreciate the challenges of the role. This experience working out in the community enables our Care Coordinators to ensure that each run is well-organised and compact.
