About our Site
Our Mill lodge is a new 26 bedded hospital for adults of 18 and above who are experiencing acute mental health issues. Situated in the middle of Kegworth, close to Nottingham, Derby and Leicester it has good and easy access. The hospital has 4 wards of either 6 or 7 beds and caters for both male and female in single sex accommodation.
Mill Lodge Hospital in based in the Heart of Kegworth Village, within easy reach of the A6, near junction 24 of the M1 motorway and is also close to East Midlands Airport and East Midlands Parkway railway station. 6 miles north of Loughborough, 12 miles Nottingham, 12.5 miles southeast of Derby.

The Role
Requirements for a Domestic Assistant
As an evening Domestic Assistant, you will be a key member of our team, providing the highest standards of domestic and laundry cleaning duties for our service users and communal areas. Experience preferred but is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn, and the compassion and patience needed to support our service users. It is essential you work in line with IPC processes and general health and safety measures.

The ideal Domestic Assistant
- Experience: Preferred but no essential
- Excellent communication with a strong focus on attention to detail
- Great team player, flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those who we support.
- Empathy, patience, optimism, and compassion are essential for this role.
- Effective organisational skills
- Demonstrable values and a commitment to leading and supporting colleagues and service users.
- Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to services and risk management
- Willing to work a rota pattern covering evenings, mornings, nights, and weekends, over a 7-day period.
