The Role

Village Homecare is a small homecare provider situated in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. We specialise in providing care to individuals within their own homes.

Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit Community Carers to join our team.

We presently serve many of the surrounding villages from our office in Newbold Verdon including Barlestone, Market Bosworth, Barlestone, Desford, Kirby muxloe, Groby, Ratby, Markfield, Thornton, Ibstock, Coalville, Ellistown, Measham and other surrounding villages.

You do not require previous experience, we are willing to work with you to help you become an excellent community care worker.

Duties

Personal Care
Meal preparation
Medication administration
Grocery shopping
General light housework duties
Companionship & social outings
Requirements:

Passionate and keen to make a difference helping others.
Naturally caring and understanding.
Full Driving Licence & Access to own vehicle preferred but not especial.
DBS is required for all applicants unless enrolled on to the DBS update service.
You will be required to complete all training, with the option to enrol onto an NVQ or complete our optional training courses.
We also provide full uniform and training provided, hourly rate paid for travel time on top of your hourly rate and millage allowance paid.

Hourly rates vary dependent on shifts and qualifications, your hourly rates will also increase by £0.05 per hour for each additional year with Village Homecare.

We also run an attendance bonus scheme which is paid every 6 months.
