The Role
What we look for in our Healthcare Assistants
As our Healthcare Assistant you will be a key member of our talent team. Providing the highest standards of person-centred care to our residents. Building outstanding relationships with both residents and their families, supporting residents in planning goals, boundaries and living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, with a real commitment, offering compassion and patience, being organised and great communicator with understanding is essential, having energy and resourcefulness are vital; experience in care however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and provide a real supportive caring environment to our residents by treating them like you would your own family member with respect and dignity. We look for people who match with our values and philosophy. If this sounds perfect, then we have the role for you!

About our Matthews Unit Our Matthews Unit has 'a specialist remit' coupled with an experienced and motivated MDT, provides up to 38 placements with tailor-made rehabilitation packages for people with Neurological Diseases, Acquired Brain Injury or Terminal Illness. The expert Multi-Disciplinary Team comprises a Nursing medical team, Neuropsychologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist proving specialist 24/7 support.
