Working Hours: Hours: Full time, average 40.25 hours per week. Shifts: Mixed shifts days and nights, 12.5 hours per shift. Days 7:30am till 8:00pm, Nights 7:30pm till 8:00am

About our Mill Lodge Hospital

Our Mill lodge is a new 26 bedded hospital for adults of 18 and above who are experiencing acute mental health issues. Situated in the middle of Kegworth, close to Nottingham, Derby and Leicester it has good and easy access. The hospital has 4 wards of either 6 or 7 beds and caters for both male and female in single sex accommodation.

From April New Rates of Pay.

Acute Unit from £9.50 to £11.50 per hour, PICU Ward from £10.00 to £11.50 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications plus employee benefits, we offer more for NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. On completing contracted 40.25 hours per week, we offer an overtime rate of £1.00 per hour extra on top of the normal rate of pay.

Benefits: We offer competitive rates of pay, overtime rate of pay available over 40.25 hours worked each week, please note: to qualify you must complete 40.25 hours per week to qualify for an extra £1.00 per hour, over the hours worked as an extra rate of pay over 40.25 hours, per week.

The Role

We are looking for Mental Health Support Workers with minimum of 2 years' experience working within a Mental Health environment, with a supportive and naturally caring nature, and skills to handle the demand of our patients!

As our Mental Health Support Worker, you will be a key member of our talent team. Providing the highest standards of person-centred care to our residents. Building outstanding relationships with both residents, supporting residents in planning goals, boundaries and living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, with a real commitment, offering compassion and patience, being organised and great communicator with understanding is essential, having energy and resourcefulness are vital; experience in care however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and provide a real supportive caring environment to our residents by treating them like you would your own family member with respect and dignity. Are you willing to work a rota pattern covering evenings, mornings, nights, and weekends, over a 7-day period?

Desirable, to hold a clean driving licence, over 25 year of age due to company fleet vehicle insurance policy. This is due to taking patients to attend appointments.
