The Role

I am a young lady (18) living with my family in the Braunstone Town area looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to work with me for up to 4 hours per week.

I am looking for someone to assist and support in the following areas

• Getting out and about
• Support to source a volunteer placement
• Support with this placement
• Support to get to horse riding/therapy

Once we've built up a rapport/relationship I can look at increasing the hours to include some independent life skills such as meal planning, cooking, shopping, budgeting, and using public transport.

My family and I are looking for a caring, supportive, trustworthy, reliable person, who may have had some previous experience of working with a young person with ASD. heightened anxiety which impacts on me socialising and maximising the potential I have.

It would be ideal if you share similar interests – fashion, music, animals.

Access to a car and a clean current driving license, essential.

Enhanced DBS check applicable to this role – paid for by the funding authority.
