The Role
4 hrs per week. Preferably in the afternoons on Wednesdays. Duties: To support client with community activities to ensure his safety. PA will need their own vehicle with business insurance. Client will pay mileage direct. Client's interests include going out in the community on his bike. Enjoys socialising with other young people. Loves going to the pub for meals, shopping, cinema and helping at a local charity shop. Relevant diagnosis: Mild Learning Disability, ADHD, Anxieties. Risk of being targeted in the community. An enhanced DBS is required for this position. Previous experience of working with young adults preferred. To work on a 1:1 basis. To assist to maximise independence and to access community social and recreational activities. Previous care experience desired but not essential.
