The Role

The Ashton Care Home is seeking to recruit experienced Carers to join their fabulous team, centrally located in Hinckley.

The role involves providing quality care for our elderly residents, and ensuring that they retain their dignity and individuality. You'll also be involved in the general activities of the home, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members and visitors.

Applicants will have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment and be willing to participate in vocational training programmes. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and be comfortable working in a team.

A QCF/NVQ in Care is not necessary for this post but a willingness to take part in vocational training is required. A qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines would be advantageous for this role but is not essential, satisfactory police check and DBS/CRB applies.
