The Role
Weekly hours: 6. Wednesday 1.5 hrs around 9.15 to 10.45 a.m. Plus 1.5 hrs flexible. Arranged where possible to be mutually convenient. PA duties: The main task is to support client to be ready for work on time and into their vehicle. In addition, you may be expected to make a simple breakfast "tea/toast" and as time permits to do some tidying and cleaning. As the role develops, to provide support with attending appointments, and accessing leisure activity. Mobility: Client is able to self-propel and transfer independently, they will require some support where it is difficult to manoeuvre the wheelchair. Client has some mild learning difficulties. Previous care experience desired but not essential. This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and respectful of others' privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs.
