About Thornham Grove

Our Thornham Grove is a 34 bedded Residential Home extensively improved in 1997. It is a single storey, modular designed home with specific requirements. It is situated centrally in the pleasant rural village of Ibstock (Leicestershire) and is easily accessible by public transport to the local towns of Hinckley, Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Market Bosworth. It also houses the very active Day Centre which is well attended by up to 12 people at any one time.

The ideal Bank Support Worker

• Excellent communication and administrative skills, computer literacy with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Great team player, flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those who we support.
• Empathy, patience, optimism and compassion are essential for this role.
• Effective organisational skills.
• Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
• Demonstrable values and a commitment to leading and supporting colleagues and residents.
• Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to services and risk management.
• Experience of building positive working relationships service users, their families, staff and other health and social care professionals.
• Willing to work a rota pattern covering evenings, mornings, nights, and weekends, over a 7-day period.
