The Role

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join us as a Waking Nights Carer for one of lovely elderly clients in Woodhouse Eaves, Loughborough, Leicestershire

Our clients lives in his own home and you will be required to stay with him during the night time to ensure that he is safe and his wife can have a good nights sleep.

The hours are 10pm - 8am. either a 7 nights on/off rota or a 7 night fortnight.

Waking Night Care

You will stay awake overnight at our clients house whilst he sleeps to ensure that he is safe. The role will include:

  • · Being awake and alert during the night in case our client requires assistance
  • · Night time support - including personal care and changing of Stoma Bag
  • · Logging any night time activity
  • · Hand-overs to daytime staff
  • · Home Help - possible light cleaning, washing and domestic chores whilst client sleeps

We're Looking For:

  • · Care Experience - In a care home or home care setting. Minimum 6 months.
  • · A passion for caring for others
  • · Hard working, reliable, dependable, committed
  • · Excellent communication skills
  • · A dedication to treating clients and their property with dignity and respect
