The Role
Task/duties: PA will use their own vehicle to support client to access the community. Client will pay mileage separately to PA and a wheelchair is used out in the community. To also provide a daily 30min PM call to support with bedtime routine and securing property. Community access hours can be flexible. PM call to be discussed with client. Relevant diagnosis: Osteoarthritis, COPD, Sleep Apnoea. Depression. Epilepsy (no rescue meds, client hasn't had a seizure for over 10 years). PA will require an enhanced DBS certificate but can be provided by local authority. There is a cat in the property. To work on a 1:1 basis. To assist to maximise independence and to access community social and recreational activities. Previous care experience desired but not essential.
